Select a miner or enter TH/s and power, set your ₹/kWh, then calculate.

How to use this calculator

  1. Select a miner from the dropdown (current market ASICs), or switch to Custom TH/s if you know hashrate and watts.
  2. Confirm hashrate (TH/s) and power (W) — filled automatically for known models.
  3. Enter your electricity rate in ₹ per kWh and optional pool fee (default 1%).
  4. Review BTC mined and INR profit after electricity for daily, monthly, and annual periods.

Revenue uses your hashrate share of the live Bitcoin network hashrate, ~144 blocks per day, and the current subsidy (3.125 BTC until the next halving). Transaction fees are not fully modelled — real pool income can be slightly higher in fee-heavy periods.

Mining is capital-intensive and often loses money at residential power rates. Many people in India are better served by learning Bitcoin fundamentals, stacking, andself-custody strategy than by running ASICs at home.

Mining calculator FAQs

How does this Bitcoin mining calculator work?
You pick a miner model (or enter custom TH/s and watts), set your electricity rate in ₹/kWh, and optional pool fee. The tool estimates pool mining BTC rewards from your share of the live network hashrate, converts revenue to INR using the live BTC price, subtracts electricity cost, and shows daily, monthly, and annual profit and BTC.
Are the miner hashrates and power figures accurate?
Dropdown values use typical manufacturer nameplate hashrate and wall power. Real output varies with firmware, ambient temperature, power mode, and hardware age. Treat results as estimates, not guarantees.
What electricity price should I use in India?
Use your actual commercial or industrial tariff in ₹/kWh (often ₹5–₹12+ depending on state, slab, and time-of-day). Home residential rates plus noise and heat make small-scale mining impractical for most people in India.
Does this include miner purchase cost, cooling, or maintenance?
No. Results are operating profit only: estimated mining revenue minus electricity. Hardware cost, import duty, cooling, hosting, downtime, and repairs are separate. For full ROI or treasury decisions, book a consultation.
Is Bitcoin mining legal in India?
Mining is generally treated as a business activity and is not banned, but tax, power-tariff, and compliance rules apply and change. This calculator is educational — not legal or tax advice. Verify current rules for your state and situation.
Why might my pool payout differ from this estimate?
Pools pay by hashrate share over time with variance, fees, and sometimes transaction-fee revenue that moves with mempool conditions. Network difficulty also adjusts roughly every two weeks. Use this tool for planning ranges, not exact daily payouts.

Need help deciding: mine, buy, or self-custody?

Numbers alone are not a plan. I help individuals and businesses weigh mining economics against simply holding Bitcoin securely.
